Some Questions Answered

We support domestic and international adoptions from birth on for Christian families who are approved by our directors

We believe that having a Mom and Dad is best but we do support single parents who are approved by our directors. In fact, our first grant was awarded to a young single lady who served as a missionary in Uganda for three years. She has adopted two beautiful girls from the orphanage where she served and they are a wonderful family of three!

We work diligently to get you an answer as soon as possible. You can expect to hear from us with an answer or clarifying questions within 45 days of submission but most of the time much sooner.

No, before applying you must be working with a licensed, child-placing agency (in most cases, this is different than your homestudy provider), and you must have a completed and/or updated homestudy.

We are always here to answer your questions so feel free to email us at eph320foundation@gmail.com. There are no silly questions! Also we believe that there is wisdom in the counsel of many advisors (Prov. 15:22) so ask your trusted friends, family and/or Pastor for advice as well.

Absolutely we do! God created each of these precious little souls for a purpose.

We fund adoption grants for the final stage of the process. So if you are adopting internationally we would fund when you receive your ‘Travel Authorization.’ If domestically when you have been matched and all paperwork is approved.

Grant amounts are at the discretion of our directors, but typically range between $1,000 and $5,000. We have many qualified families who apply, and we regret that we are not able to assist them all. The Ephesians 3:20 Foundation encourages you to seek additional sources of adoption funding-including the investigation of potential support from your church as well as other grant organizations.

We fund only to other qualified 501c3 (non-profit) organizations on your behalf. The grant check will be mailed directly to your agency on your behalf. For international adoptions the agency may request the funds when you have received your Travel Authorization for the final trip (to obtain placement). For domestic adoptions, your agency may request the funds at the time of placement of the child. It may take up to 10 business days to process the check once the request has been made by the agency.

Applicants are welcome to apply for adoption assistance grants for subsequent adoptions. *Please note: If you are adopting two or more children at the same time, one application will suffice.

Income is one of the primary factors considered for grant eligibility. There are also many other strong factors under consideration in the grant review process. If a family meets the income guidelines then we will proceed to review the other factors. The income eligibility guidelines are as follows based on the number of children a family currently has:

No children $65,000 max
1 child $70,000 max
2 children $75,000 max
3 children $80,000 max
4 children and above $85,000 max

We are not able to award grants to families unless at least one parent is a U.S. citizen; keep in mind that your agency must be a licensed U.S. adoption agency and have a 501c3 certification.

We are not able to assist with adoptions that are not processed through a licensed, child-placing agency, so we do not award grants to families who are adopting independently. (A home study provider alone does not meet the requirement of a licensed, child-placing agency.)

Once a decision has been made, you cannot be reconsidered for the same adoption, even in light of new information or circumstances.
